• Account Data: Anonymous authentication identifier, or your name and email if you sign in with Apple or Google.
• Onboarding Responses: Your answers to personalization questions (frequency, triggers, goals, risk times). These are stored securely and used only to personalize your experience.
• Usage Data: Task completions, check-ins, streak data, and XP progress.
• Slip Logs: If you choose to log a setback, we store the time, trigger, and intensity. This data is private to your account.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To personalize your daily tasks and AI support recommendations
• To track your progress, streaks, and level progression
• To provide insights and patterns after sufficient check-ins
• To improve the app experience

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) with authentication-based access controls. Only you can access your data through your authenticated account.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: Subscription management (processes purchase receipts, does not access personal data)
• Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Community features show anonymized activity only (e.g., "Someone beat an urge with DEFEND!").

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@unchainapp.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Break the Loop is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
